No matter what, even with some wrestling on, the weekend's are your best bet for good television. What isn't surprising nowadays is where you find that TV, on cable. HBO and AMC have been able to keep their level of quality up with a hand full of shows and it is really amazing. Especially after watching all the upfront coverage and seeing how hard the traditional networks are trying it's almost refreshing to see these cable networks figure it out so easily.
What To Watch
1. Shark Tank
Friday ABC 8pm: Two hours including the season finale, like that means something for a reality show, air tonight. For me this is still the best reality show still on TV simply because no one is drinking heavily at a club and fighting shortly afterward.
2. Game of Thrones
Sunday HBO 9pm: I'm now two episodes behind and hopefully can catch up before this Sunday as the wedding seems bound to change a lot in this world. I can't help but wonder what this will all build up to.
Sunday HBO 10pm: Haven't gotten into this show very much but it seems to have built up a following hear and there. Is this a show I can dive into no matter the episode or do I need to seek out season one?
4. Mad Men
Sunday AMC 10pm: The show gets more and more wrapped up with intrigue. I like how the character relationships on this show continue to intertwine and evolve in ways most shows can't keep up with.
