I think I'll spend this weekend quietly playing video games. I've gotten into a habit of going on some interesting adventures later in the week and am really happy to get the weekend to decompress. Of course now I've saddled myself with horrible movies to watch, so my weekend won't be that great thanks to all of you.
What To Watch
1. Shark Tank
Friday, ABC 9pm: Something about rich dudes either celebrating innovations or "politely" turning them down is entertaining. At least every episode there is a good idea and it is neat to see new products not longer before it arrives on store shelves.
Saturday, NBC 8pm: Didn't even realize this show was still on air. It had a lot of hype leading up to it's debut and then dropped off. From what I've dug up the viewership was never what NBC expected, like most of their shows.
3. The Simpsons
Sunday, Fox 8pm: Every now and then I'll catch a newer episode of The Simpsons and I'd say one in four are actually funny. Sad to see it still dragging on but if they're still telling engaging stories with the occasional flash of old Simpsons wit then I guess it's better than most television.
4. Game of Thrones
Sunday, HBO 9pm: Game of Thrones has heated up! The last two episodes have been jaw droppers and really started to send some story lines into intriguing situations. Each time something crazy happens I think to myself it couldn't happen again, and then it happens again.
5. Mad Men
Sunday, AMC 10pm: I promise I'll start watching Mad Men on Netflix sometime soon. The setting really interests me and I like some of the actors from other works. Just have yet to give it the time of day.
