What to Watch: Weekend
| 1. Fringe 9:00pm, Friday on FOX Picked up for a fifth and final 13 episode season, it makes me happy to know we will get some real closure on the series. In tonight's episode, both teams fight for the same cause. Now, that's a shock. | |
| 2. Supernatural 9:00pm, Friday on The CW Episode entitled "The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo." The creativity in that is almost enough to get me to watch. | |
| 3. The Blind Side 8:00pm, Saturday on ABC Well, it's a Saturday and The Blind Side is on ABC might be the only good thing on that night. That is all I have to say about that. | |
| 4. The Good Wife 9:00pm, Sunday on CBS This show is a bit too "middle of the road" for me, but if you watch it, the season finale is this week, and the firm is facing bankruptcy. | |
| 5. Bob's Burgers 8:30pm, Sunday on FOX Bob gets drugged and mistakes Gayle for Linda and kisses her. Gayle develops a crush on him. Ew, gross! | |
| 6. Breakout Kings 9:00pm, Sunday on A&E It's the two hour season finale and the team tracks a circus escape artist and crazy nemesis Damian leaves them with an impossible choice. | |
| 7. Mad Men 10:00pm, Sunday on AMC Sally Draper has a storyline and that is always a must see. More Sally 2012! | |
| 8. Game of Thrones 9:00pm, Sunday on HBO Maybe we will find out what that smoke baby is? Maybe I don't want to know? | |
| 9. Veep 10:00pm, Sunday on HBO The more time I spend thinking about this show, the more I like it. | |
| 10. Girls 10:30pm, Sunday on HBO The more time I spend thinking about this show, the more I dislike it. |

Man, I can't believe Fringe got picked up again. Aside from this season I passionately devoured every episode, rewatched them all hunting for clues, doing write-ups, adding to our wiki even, and I've always known that it was a shitty, SHITTY show. I'm not embarrassed about what I've done. ;) But I am shocked that people think there's any actual quality in that torturous mish-mash of half-backed sci-fi ideas that go nowhere. (Aside from the always great John Noble, of course).
Also, I like your Veep/Girls blurbs. See what you're doing there ;)
No Playoff love? Here's what we got to look forward to this weekend:
"Sally go to bed!" - Betty Draper
@ThePickle: The playoffs are over for me because all the Canadian teams got eliminated.

Those are the best kind of playoffs. Unless you're Canadian of course.
I actually have stuff to watch on the weekends now huzzah. Legend of Korra and Young Justice on Sat Avenger:EMH (probably gut through Ult Spider-man because It can't get anyworse) Game of Thrones Girls and Veep. It's that and Guild Wars 2
Game of Thrones will continue to hold me in its wintry thrall.

Hockey is poisoned for me because the canucks did so poorly.
I remember an interview with Joss Whedon where he said on Buffy the Vampire Slayer he just assumed every season save for the 4th was going to be the last and planned accordingly. Which is how I thing more Sci Fi shows should be handled.
I really do want to know what crawled out of her vagina.
Lots of stuff to watch this weekend, especially looking forward to another Veep. It's managing to fill my obsession with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, so now I can maybe stop constantly re watching Old Christine.
No mention of the NBA Playoffs at all? How dare you miss them.
Bob's Burgers!!!
Cartoon all this weekend... Young Justice, Legend of Korra, etc :D
NBA Playoffs in there as well
i really like bobs burgers for 2 simple reasons. 1)Jon Benjamin and 2)Loren Bouchard. home movies was/is one of my favorite animated shows and bobs burgers has alot of that same feel its like home movies 2.0 to me.
Man, I sure hope that Game of Thrones straightens out the fact that it's actually a shadow baby, not a smoke baby....
