What to Watch: Weekend

We bid adieu to Westeros.

1. Mad Men

10:00pm on Sunday, AMC

After last week (which was one of my favorite episodes of the season, if not the series) I hope they are able to continue the trend. There are only two episodes left, so enjoy it while you can.

2. Game of Thrones

9:00pm on Sunday, HBO - Season Finale

Also an episode last week that was nearly perfect. I am really not ready to say goodbye to our friends in Westeros. Say it ain't so!

3. MTV Movie Awards
9:00pm on Sunday, MTV

If you miss this airing, it will probably repeat about 100 times throughout the next few weeks. With Russell Brand hosting it could be a mildly entertaining show..mildly.
4. Nurse Jackie

9:00pm on Sunday, Showtime

Was just renewed for a fifth season, which is pretty good for a show I never hear anyone talking about watching. Am I missing something here?

I need to catch up with Game of Thrones already :/

MTV still has the balls to do a movie awards show? Watching those is like watching a car accident with ads lining the seats.

Watch movies based on teen novels win spray-painted statues of popcorn! Yay!

The Hunger Games are more deserving than Twilight, at least.

MTV Movie Awards? So is that what the M stands for?

Probably better than the Peoples Choice Awards

Game of Thrones, nuff said.

I've somehow managed to keep myself away from the previews for Blackwater and the finale. Want it all to be totally fresh to me. Can't wait!

I would say the MTV Movie Awards as improved this year. Breaking Dawn Part 1 is only nominated once (even if it is for Best Movie). Hopefully it won't be a repeat of last year where it beat The Social Network, Black Swan and Inception for Best Movie.

Dig Deeper into Nurse Jackie

At New York's All Saints' Hospital the line between right and wrong is often blurry, especially in the frenzied action of an urban ER. Amidst the chaos hospital veteran Jackie Peyton, R.N. struggles to do what's best for her patients even when it means bending the law or even breaking it outright. Fighting the pressures from naive doctors and staff, her affair with the hospital pharmacist, and a swelling prescription drug addiction Jackie greatest battles are yet to come.
