What to Watch: Weekend

What is a weekend with no Walter White? A weekend with a 2-headed shark.

1. Stand Up to Cancer

8:00pm on Friday, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, and Various Cable Networks

Stand Up to Cancer One hour telethon across networks, in which celebrities appear and help raise support for research on a cure. There will be performances by Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Alicia Keys and Tim McGraw. If you know anyone who has sadly been affected by the disease, here is a way you can help.

2. Boss

9:00p on Friday, Starz

Kane attemps to clean house and deep-six some longtime political cronies. Sounds dirty.

3. Doctor Who (Reboot)

9:00pm on Saturday, BBC

Dinosaurs + Doctor Who!

4. 2-Headed Shark Attack

9:00pm on Saturday, SyFy - Editor's Top Pick (only because I'm not caught up on the Doctor)

Scared college students...abandone reefs...mutated sharks...what more could one ask for?

5. Hell on Wheels

9:00pm on Sunday, AMC

Cullen's past catches up to him and threatens the fate of the railroad.

6. Leverage

9:00pm on Sunday, TNT

Parker happens upon a robbery scheme after she breaks her leg and is left behind on a job.

Well, looks like I'll have to postpone my Breaking Bad withdrawal depression because a 2-headed shark sounds too ridiculous to pass up.

If you don't want to wait until Saturday night, 2-Headed Shark Attack is on Netflix Instant. I'm still catching up on season 4 of Breaking Bad though.

No mention of Copper on BBC America on Sunday again? Awwww...anyways I've seen ye not-so-olde 2-Headed Shark Attack before with it's slightly refreshing lack of humorous irony and tiny smidge of Corman nudity...but Sand Sharks went the direct route as well and never stopped by SyFy or Netflix before so I'm definitely going to give that a whirl tonight.

Dig Deeper into Boss

Mayor Tom Kane (Kelsey Grammer) struggles to run Chicago while dealing with a rare brain degenerative disease.
