What to Watch: Weekend

Let's all rejoice, there is finally enough new television to warrant a Weekend What to Watch. Well, actually, there is just enough DOWNTON ABBEY!!!

1. Merlin

10:00pm on Friday, SyFy – Season 5 Premiere

I know nothing of this show other than the fact that the title makes it sound awesome and think some Screened Pups might enjoy it.

2. Revenge

9:00pm on Sunday, ABC

Victoria starts planning a scheme that includes Emily while Emily locks in on a new target.

3. Happy Endings

10:00pm on Sunday, ABC

A bonus episode of Happy Endings will be airing on Sunday night with Don't Trust the B— after the defunct 666 Park was pulled off the air. What a.....happy ending!

4. Bob's Burgers

8:30pm on Sunday, FOX

Linda and Louise try to mend their relationship and Bob teaches Tina how to shave her legs with laser razors.

5. Downton Abbey

9:00pm on PBS - Season 3 Premiere

The Crawleys and their servants are back for more upstairs/downstairs drama and if you haven't watched yet – please do! I promise it's not just a soap opera. I promise it's not just for girls. I promise it's just awesome.

Also YOUNG JUSTICE IS BACK!!!!! (10:30am Saturday Morning) Y'all should go watch it, before Cartoon Network decides to but it on hiatus....again...for no real reason.

Revenge was one of the shows I meant to keep watching but than Sundays became crowded and I dropped it. I'll have to catch that up on netflix.

Despite Merlin being a "kids show" its actually pretty damn good. Alas its finished now (have yet to see the last five). As for Downton, I admit to watching a few full episodes and actually enjoying it on those occasions.

Still, looking to the week ahead over here in Britain there's a few new series of good shows starting up, just in time for all my christmas dvds to have been watched.

Merlin is awesome! I always think of the cartoon Gargoyles from the 90's, there is a quote, "MacBeth will become a great warrior, if he survies to man hood."

I am a hardcore fan of The Biggest Loser, mainly because I love seeing the contestants start their journey of getting healthy and slimmer as they try to stay at the ranch.

The reason I'm saying this is because the new season starts tonight on NBC at 9p.m., and I'm excited about that.

Dig Deeper into Downton Abbey

A costume drama series set in an Edwardian country house in the early 20th century, starting in 1912, Downton Abbey tells the story of all the struggles and passions of the Crawley family and the servants who work for them.
