All you need to know is Downton Abbey is awesome.
Regarding Fringe, I fell off bandwagon towards the end of season 3. I think once it hits Netflix Instant I'll go catch up. That show was really promising the first and even part of the second season. It was the new X-Files for me. Sadly, I think it took a turn for the way too weird and lost people as a result. I wonder if it would've had a better run on SyFy ala BSG.
I still like Fringe and am a bit bummed out to see it go, but its not as great (to me) as it once was. The first two series (roughly) were all about mad science, crazy technology and all that but as it went on and they introduced the other universe and the character's alternates and all the other baggage it lost something of its charm. Now, with its war against the Observers and future setting, it lost some of its magic.
