The movie is based on the robbery of the cash counting center NOKAS in Stavanger, Norway.
Trivia:
The movie is based on the largest robbery in Norwegian history. The robbers escaped with 57 million NOK -- almost 10 million USD. The robbers were since caught, tried and imprisoned, but 51 million NOK are still missing.
