Trivia:

Jackie Chan accused Sammo Hung and Tsui Hark of stealing his idea for a martial arts film set in the wild west, which Jackie had been developing for a long time. It caused a rift between life-long friends Chan and Hung, and is apparently the only time Sammo has ever apologised to Jackie for anything. Jackie later took aspects of the story he felt this film stole and made them into SHANGHAI NOON.
