I just saw my beloved Pam from True Blood is playing a character in this show... which I had heard nothing about!?!

Anyone watch the Pilot? reviews? any good? shit?

This is one of those times I wish we could edit the title of our threads... CAPITAL WOMAN CAPITALS!

I watched it, and I really like it. Robert Carlyle continues to be an amazing actor. Also, say what you will about the writing on House, but I always liked Jennifer Morrison.

I admit Carlyle was a bit of a draw as well, so its worth giving a look?

Well my mom likes it. From what I've watched kind of wish they stick more in the Fantasy land than the Lost afterlife world.

Don't worry, it's not an afterlife world. Also, after only 42 minutes, there's no reason to think that they won't go back to the fantasy word at some point in the first season.

I know I should just watch it, but I have so many shows to watch I have to know they are good before attempting!

I know I should just watch it, but I have so many shows to watch I have to know they are good before attempting!

I just rather have it all happen in fantasy land than surburbia

I missed it and I'll probably catch up on it after the World Series ends.

Carlyle is one of those few actors I will watch even if everything else around him sucks, he still holds up his end. Great and underestimated actor.

It was a bit lacking, but did make me want to watch the next episode (we just streamed it) so will give it a further go.

I did up a full review of the first episode over in the reviews section, but the short version is that I'm more intrigued by the premise than actually a fan of the execution. The more I read about coming episodes though makes me think that the version of the show I'm interested in might not be the one they're making. I'm more intrigued by a potential Lost via Gilmore Girls deal, but it seems to be hewing much closer to Lost than anything else and I don't think it has the chops to pull that off.

@Mistress_Redhead: Don't forget that pilots are typically 2 hours long, and this was only one. Why that decision was made, I don't know.

I've seen some pretty good reviews for it! (: and I'm a big fan of Ginnifer Goodwin and fairy tales in general. So I can't wait to see it. BUT I'm in England :( so I hope they air it here soon. <3

I love Pam too! Kristin is playing Maleficent a villainous sorcerer. I can't wait, she'll be incredible, she was born to play a villain!

@CherryBomb: I KNOW! I follow her on Twitter and that is what got me looking! though I admit the costumes are not great.. I think she will be a great Maleficent!

I have tried not to read forward. There are some performances in it that I hope will hold it up a bit (Caryle at least will carry me a few more episodes) but if they do get a bit too up their butt about it, I will bail.

@Mistress_Redhead: it looks a bit like the Maleficent from the cartoon (: but yeah, she's gonna rock the role, she's the main villains nemesis! that is bad-ass.

@CherryBomb: I agree it looks similar (though the colours are off) but I was more thinking a lot of the costumes look a little cheap.

I need to watch this pilot. There needs to be more talk about this show, I mean jeez in the TV wasteland this is a breath of fresh air! Mixing fairytales in reality, much like the amazing FABLES graphic novels.

Did this come out of nowhere or what? Is there any familiar big name attached to it, like Neil Gaiman?
