I'm a little surprised by this but so far out of 25 reviews, on Rotten Tomatoes, One for the Money has a whopping zero percent. I knew the movie was going to be bad but I really wasn't expecting a zero percent. Did anyone actually expect it to get this bad of reviews? EDIT: There are now 27 reviews, one of which is sadly fresh. That makes the tomatometer a 4%.

What? Who wouldn't think this?

I was legitimately gutted when I found out that Heigl was playing this character. I mean the book isn't a work of art, but it is kinda funny.

[whispers] i wanna see it

I've developed a masochistic fascination with Katherine Heigl movies I know they're bad for me but I can't turn away.

I thought it looked kinda good honestly.

The title could not be more hilariously apt.

My mom is a huge fan of the books and had the exact same reaction. When will people realize that Katherine Heigl is quality poison? She's reaching Sarah Jessica Parker levels of guaranteed awfulness.

Not only does it have a 4% on Rottentomatoes, but the highest review on Metacritic (and there are 12 of them) is a C+. This is going to be so bad.

And the only positive review on RT is "I liked it in a guilty pleasure sort of way". Not exactly high praise.

Shit.

That's too bad, it looked okay. Maybe it was just a really misleading trailer.

OUCH! Looks like the movie's *really* not any good so far.

Didn't look that bad in the trailer. Looked better than that Gerard Butler Anniston vehicle. You wanna talk about downward career spiral, Heigl aint got shit on Butler.

Katherine Heigl is a pretty good actress, she was so great back on Grey's Anatomy, but ever since then she's just become the 'romcom chick' like Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Anniston, Drew Barrymore and Kate Hudson .. hey, they are our new Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts!

Heigl's romcoms are my guilty pleasures I must say ....

@ryanwho: That's actually a really good point. I don't know what Butler is doing with his script choices but bloody hell, most of the stuff he's in can't even look good on paper can it?

Katherine Heigle takes the roles even Kate Hudson turns her nose at.

I find it so strange as she is a charming looking lady and Knocked Up gave her a great introduction to the general film-going public. Even if she has decided she wants to be the queen of Rom-Com there are good films and bad to be had in that dubious genre but she seems to pick the stinkers every time. Even Hugh Grant managed to find the odd half decent film to stammer and flick his hair though.

That's because Heigl never really went up
