Leader of the Maximals during the Beast Wars and ancestor of Optimus Prime. He's a gorilla who can fly and that's perfectly prime with him.

Background:

Before the Beast Wars he's only the captain of one exploratory mission but during the Beast Wars he soon lives up to being a Prime. He shows himself to be a practical and fair leader of the Maximals as well as a great warrior on the battlefield. Named after Optimus Prime he acts very similar to him and even saved both Earth and Cybertron, something his predecessor didn't do.
