After escaping from prison, Jack Foley kidnaps a federal marshal. He pursues a relationship with her despite his friends and his instincts telling him not to, and begins planning one last job, an elaborate diamond heist that will set him up for life. It won't end well for anyone involved.

Trivia:

The original pre-release poster lists music by Cliff Martinez, but Scottish DJ David Holmes replaced him and is credited with the score in the final film.
