Pawn Stars

Pawn Stars is a reality show on the History Channel about the Gold & Silver Pawn shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. The store is owned and run by Rick Harrison, his father Richard "The Old Man", and his son Corey "Big Hoss". Also a regular on the cast is Corey's friend and dim-witted fellow employee Austin "Chumlee" Russell. Each episode involves customers bringing in antique, rare, historical, or just plain strange items which are examined by one of the four. Customers often have a unique story to tell about the circumstances which led them to acquire the item. After the item is examined by one of the employees (or one of Rick's specialist friends), the customer is then shown haggling with one of the four. Deals are not always made, and sometimes customers find out that their supposed rare or historical items are indeed fake or somehow worthless copies. Also featured often are the dealings that the four main cast members have with each other throughout the day, often revolving around low sale numbers or someone mistakenly buying fake items (usually Chumlee).
