EDIT: Here is a picture, and you can follow this link to get the trailer.
I can't put pictures in right now, sorry.
Disney Toon Studios is famous for making direct-to-DVD sequels to popular Disney animated movies. They did The Lion King 1 1/2 and a bunch of Tinkerbell movies (one of which actually got a release in the El Capitan Theatre in LA). Disney Toon Studios's recently released a trailer for Planes, a spin-off of the Cars universe. Pixar, which made Cars and its sequel Cars 2, is not involved, but Disney Toon Studios is run by John Lasseter, who created the Cars universe (Pixar is owned by Disney as well).
Now, rumor has it that John Lasseter is so fond of the new short he wants to give it a theatrical release. At a Film & Comic Convention, some poster art for Planes appeared advertising a 2013 release date. It wasn't specified whether this was going to be theatrical, but it was visible next to posters for big budget Disney pics like Oz: The Great & Powerful, Monsters University, and Iron Man 3.
