Are you saying, the other whiskey media podcasts dont deliver quality and quantity? because I enjoy the hell out of the Tested and Giantbomb podcasts, if BTSD was longer and I'm not saying GB 3 hrs long I would enjoy it that much more. As I'm sure most people would.
Great podcast this week. And I'm fine with more abbreviated podcasts in light of a lack of staff. Having something to listen to is nice, but it's Alex's and Rorie's writing that I find most enticing about Screened anyway.
Awesome show, great job!
Also, corporations ARE evil. Just play the documentary Syndicate and you will see. It's a video game so you know it's real.
aaaaaaand we're back. I needed this.
I'm in agreement with this. I would prefer if the Behind the Screen Door was about a little over an hour long. I like Behind the Screen Door more due to the pacing of the show, and of course, Rorie, Navarro, and Joey are always a treat.

There are certainly quality parts of the GB and Tested podcasts, but I often have to tune out or skim through some of the podcast because of the lesser parts. The days of GB talking about drinks at the beginning of the cast come to mind, and I tuned out the quick Disneyland talk from the latest podcast.
Tree's are good and corporations are bad but you should buy a Mazda.
See, I told you more Joey anywhere is a good thing.
On the topic of videos that are good to have playing at a party...
Skinemax from Smash TV on Vimeo.
edit: After posting I realized that the title Skinemax along with the image doesn't represent this at all for what it is. Since I'm sure some might get the wrong idea (or be let down) the video is an insane edit of clips from a whole bunch of movies you'll have seen dozens of times if you were born between the late 70s and probably mid 80s.
Behind the Screened Door is officially a Wednesday podcast now.

Good stuff! Yay!
Wow, speaking of Dr. Suess' history, that guy was a total trainwreck. His wife eventually purposely OD'd on barbituates killing herself leaving a note reading:
He was cheating on her with a married woman 18 years younger than her. His mistress would end up sending both of her daughters - 14 and 8 at the time - away to boarding school because Ted Geisel (Dr. Suess' real name) did not want to have any children, and his mistress - and future wife - ironically was quoted as saying:
That's right, Dr. Suess basically hated children, and was a terrible person.
The more you know.

Could this 90th Episode be the final Screencast? Fuck I hope not.

I was really hoping to get one last episode with Alex, so we could give him a proper sendoff. I'm gonna be bummed if the podcast goes out with a whimper like this.
