Man, it's tough imagine that we've ever done a more tangential and scattered podcast than today's. Maybe it's because Rorie's suffering from a wicked case of avian flu, or maybe it's because Alex is still halfway between east coast time and a parallel dimension, but man, we cannot help ourselves. A simple talk about The Mechanic deviates into a larger treatise on the career of Jason Statham, discussing The Rite becomes a longer talk about what is/isn't PG-13 horror, I think we spent a third of our Network discussion talking about The Running Man, and at some point I think we just started talking about movies coming out in March for no discernible reason. Mind the sniffles, folks, it's Behind the Screened Door!

I hope I don't cough and sniffle too much in this one. I mean, I know I do, but I tried to bend away from the mic a bit.

Definitely looking forward to this one.  The description alone makes me want to listen to it.  Waiting for it to pop up on iTunes first though.

FYI, Summer Wars was actually a 2009 release in Japan.  That anime stuff takes forever to get here.

set your alarm to when you want to wake up, and your schedule will adjust to that wake up time.

warning, it's gonna SUCK for a couple days until that happens.

for instance, I wake up every day at 9 for work, school, etc. when I got my job and changed to that, it sucked for a couple days but adjustments came in time.

Awesome podcast!
Though...

I’m trying to wrap my head around what Alex says during the podcast on the 06:30 mark when referring to Keith Sutherland career “pretty much being in the <ottomiers> of I don’t give a F.”

I’ve been googling just about any alternative I can come up with in vain, getting no response.

Anyone knows what he says?

Thank you folks, appreciate it.

He said Donald Sutherland is in the "autumn years" of not giving a fuck, kinda like the tail end of his career where he doesn't care as much..

@CharAznable:

Man, I had picked up on that, but it sounded as if it was a word of sorts. But thanks for clarifying, much appreciated. Feel bad having made a thread about this, haha.

Sorry folks.

I sort of feel like this explains much of my issues throughout my life. Though propably not thus becuase I woke up early for a few years when I did a paper route.
