Well, I unpublished this but it looks like it's still up. Unfortunately all it is the theme song and an hour of silence, by what I can hear. It's all saved on the machine, but the Tested people are going live no, so I won't be able to get back to it until tomorrow morning. Sorry!

And so it ends, not with a bang but with a Lorax

How can you not have a soul Rorie? You love puppies!

I know this podcast is free and thus I may come off as being an ungrateful asshole, but aren't there enough things going in the movie/TV industry to have a podcast longer than 1 hour? Giant Bomb and Tested's podcasts are 2.5+ hours each week and unfortunately BtSD looks a little skimpy by comparison.

BtSD has generally always been about an hour or just over an hour. Alex & Rorie are basically it for the Screened staff. Giant Bomb has at least 3 times the number of employees. With all the other content Rorie has to put up, he doesn't have the time (I imagine) to do a longer podcast. Also, a good hour of the Tested podcast is outtakes. I think if Screened gets a lot more followers, user created content, etc. then perhaps they can get more staff. A lot of this rests on the community to step up & get the word out to people they should visit Screened instead of IMDB or other movie sites.

Basically this. Screened is essentially 90% me throwing content up at this point, and it takes a long time to podcast. Frontpage content will always be more bang/buck for us. If we get bigger in the future and have more staff/freelancers, I could see taking more time to do the podcast and hopefully do it more consistently, and longer.

It is alive! Thanks Rorie and Alex.

Don't let anyone give you shit for podcast snafus, Rorie. Even if you do decide to skip questions from the loyalest of loyal fans to talk about a show everyone else has stopped watching weeks ago.

Oh wait, did I just do a hypocrisy thing? I think I just did a hypocrisy thing.

It works

CrimsonAvengeron March 8, 2012 at 2:53 p.m.

Wow this was actually pretty darn good. A vast improvement upon the previous one.

B_Hearton March 8, 2012 at 2:55 p.m.

Joey needs to be on more often. It's great to have a 3-person podcast. Loving it, great energy!

phoenix87xon March 8, 2012 at 4:13 p.m.

Hell yes Walking Dead.

Arc209on March 8, 2012 at 5:15 p.m.

Yay good stuff this week...and Joey's back!

erichron March 8, 2012 at 7:20 p.m.

Haven't listened yet, but I hope that our lobbying has turned this into a permanent three person podcast! Hopefully Screened can experience the same listener growth that Tested did post Gary completing the trinity.

Posted on my B-day! :D

Lurkeroon March 8, 2012 at 7:45 p.m.

Please don't turn this into another 2.5 hour podcast. Quality over quantity has to mean something.

Great podcast again, dudes. Having a third person on mic really does make the conversation flow a bit better.
