There've been a boatload of new pictures from the set of Predators floating around, and Ain't It Cool seems to have found the source: a Russian film site called filmz.ru. My Russian's a little rusty - it's been a while since I worked for the consulate - so I'm not going to inquire too deeply into the source of these images, but why are you still reading this go look at some Predators thank you very much.

Gross. Good special affects, but after the abortion that was AvP Requiem I expect absolutely nothing from this film.

Is it just me or do the Predators' faces look like Rosie O'Donnell's vag?  (not that I'd personally know)

@D:  I can only hope that the name Predators is some kind of attempt to make people associate this film with Aliens. I.e. kinda like the first one but with more shooting things.

So twenty-some years of special effects techniques later, the predator faces look even more like rubber masks.    That's kinda awesome.

Am I the only one who's not crazy about Super Predators design?

In the script the creatures are considered Super Predators; Predators on Steroids.  There isn't ever any genetic explanation for why they are different from what I remember, aside from the steroids comparison...

Despite the sketchy rubber-maskness of some of those Predators and probably setting my hopes way, way too high, I still cannot wait for this.

Also noone should make the mistake of associating this with AvP or Requiem, Troublemaker are going out their way to call this a reboot after the damage those two did.

Why do the new Predator faces look fake as all hell? They're just so rubbery. How is it possible that Stan Winston's original Predator prosthetics look so much better then this? Did this film just have shit for budget or something? It just looks baaaaaad.
