Predators are aliens right?

I just thought about something, Predators are aliens right? So why the hell is it called Aliens vs Predators?
 
Isn't it basically Aliens vs Aliens? Sorry if it's a stupid question, don't remember much from all the movies

It's 'Franchise A' vs 'Franchise B'. I suppose a more literal title would be Aliens-with-known-birthing-habits Vs. Aliens-that-use-technology-and-have-crabby-vagina-faces.

Yeah they are aliens but it would have been a very bad title if they called it Aliens vs. Aliens.

Yeah that title sucks but I wonder why they didn't give the aliens a proper name instead of just ALIENS

Well, they are called Xenomorphs. So it could be called Xenomorphs vs Predators. But that sounds a bit too clumbsy...

Freddy Vs. Jason wasn't called Murderer Vs. Murderer. This sort of thing just feels like nit-picking.
