What this movie has: decent CG, great world design, cool vampires, not terribly original but still okay plot, great action sequences, and Maggie Q. I really loved the design of everything in this movie. Someone needs to pick up this franchise and turn it into something amazing.

What it also has: Terribly written and usually poorly acted out dialogue, and Karl Urban. Urban is easily the worst thing about this movie. Easily. This movie just has seriously bad dialogue. Luckily there's actually not a lot of talking.

3/5 stars. Yes the dialogue sucks, but everything else about it was just too damn cool to call it a crappy movie.
