Should we accept filmmakers revising history under the guise of artistic license, or is it on us to tolerate baseless and damaging films like Oliver Stone’s JFK?Maybe it's just me, but the phrasing of this sentence doesn't really make sense.

The function of Worf on the show was to present the aggressive course of action in any situation. This would provide Picard and others with an opportunity to give a more measured response. The same thing happened when Worf showed up on DS9.
