Personally, I found the Emo Parker parts to be hilarious in an "I can't believe this is happening" kind of way. Seeing what was then the world's biggest franchise crashing and burning with such bizarre gusto was a singular historical moment of schadenfreude that I was proud to be a part of.I'll feel the same way if Avatar 2 ends with the planet exploding.

I can't help but feel like this would have been better as a really mean-spirited dark comedy, with lots of ironic allusions to international relations.Of course, I feel that way about most things, so never mind.

Well, if they aren't leaving the farm, hopefully the second half of the season will revolve around the supposed safety of the farm falling apart, piece by piece, until the entire thing ends up burning to the ground. I mean, it pretty much has to, doesn't it?Doesn't it???

G.I. Joe 2's International Trailer Basically Admits It's Just Revenge Of The Sith Again.
I like this bold new idea of "G.I. Joe as guys who go places and shoot stuff." From what I hear, this is a grand improvement over the previous concept.

Fun While It Lasted: First Class Sequel To Be Written By Guy Who Did X-Men: The Last Stand.

I caught about five minutes from "Who's Still Standing?" and was amazed how much of a "man-versus-man, future death-sports" kind of vibe it had. What with the whole "picking out the weakest-looking strangers and dueling them with questions until they fall screaming into a pit and you win money" thing.I don't know, that certainly seems neat.
