I'm glad to see Hugo take home a few Oscars. That movie was surprisingly great. Other than that and The Artist, there were a lot of bullshit nominations. Drive is the best picture of the year.

What to Watch This Weekend: Video Game Awards, Important Finales, and Dustin Hoffman.

Hugo is easily my favorite movie of the year. It's also the first movie I've seen where the 3D had a meaningful impact on the cinematography. I'm not one to call a movie beautiful very often, but this film earns the distinction. Nice review Alex.

I'll be flying from Tampa to Houston to spend 4 days with family. So, from now until Wednesday it's going to be all video games all the time.Traveling on the holidays isn't so bad if you just get there at least twice as early as you normally would. It's actually fun to people watch, being relaxed and calm in a sea of stressed out crazies only adds to the experience.
