I don't know how long ago it was that I first put The Graduate into my Netflix queue. I've always desired to see the best films ever made, and The Graduate has found a place on many "must see" movie lists. It was even placed at #17 on AFI's top 100 list. The only television marathon I've ever had was South Park when I was in high school. In my home (I live with my parents) it seems there are regular Psych marathons. It seems to be the family show. I can watch and enjoy a few episodes, but I can't do it all day with everyone else.

I don't really care how long it takes me to get a DVD from Netflix, because I only use the service for streaming. If I want a physical rental, I'll use the library.

on the Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol board.
It was fun. I've heard so much about the movie being amazing, and I didn't see where the mountains of praise were coming from. That isn't to say I didn't enjoy it, though. I found the movie's biggest flaw to be how completely formulaic it is. Fail mission, get bigger mission, go to exotic places, wear crazy masks, climb stuff, run fast, save the day. Will everyone hate me for bumping an old topic? I thought this would be better than a new one.I really like Jason Reitman. He has only a few movies to his name, but I've liked them all. I would say that "Up In the Air" is his best,and a great, great movie. Reitman has to be one of my favorite up-and-coming directors.

have you seen some horrors that where just too scarry?

I've never seen anything that has been too scary, but there are some movies I'm too scared to watch. I'm too scared to see anything that is very heavily related with the occult, like "The Exorcist." You just don't mess with that stuff. I've never actually been really scared by any horror flick, though, so I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue.

2011 sucked for films, but The Green Hornet shined
on the General Discussion board.
I didn't see The Green Hornet, but I think Super 8 deserves defending. It's the best film I've seen that was released this year.

I'm really hung-up about the football. I realize that everything in the movie is fake, but a fake sports team just kills the illusion for me. This has always been the case. Other than that, it looks good.
