@Delta_Assault: Stop drinking Bud Light? :)
Well, it's done! The first episode of The Giant Beercast, the podcast about homebrewing and beer that I am doing with Joey Fameli of Whiskey Media fame is LIVE!
Forgive the quality of this first episode as we get our bearings, but please listen and enjoy! As always, comments are WELCOME!
Thanks!

First episode's special guest will be Screened's former video editor extraordinaire, Joey!
Hey Pups,
Some of you might know me from over on the Giant Bomb forums. Those of you that do, know that I am huge into homebrewing and beer in general. I am starting a new podcast about beer and homebrewing. I'm going to be covering the brewing process, beer styles, and answering questions - plus whatever else I can cook up. If this is something that interests you, please ask away on my Formspring and I will do my best to answer your question on the podcast!
This week I'll be discussing double/extra IPAs, brewing to style, and answering questions!
Thanks!
I want to hear the original pitch for John Carter. I understand its history, but was this really a property that Disney thought could become the next Pirates of the Carribean? Was there really enough "built-in" audience familiar enough with the source material to justify the budget?
@FinalDasa: I see it at the bottom, like it was on the Cabin review. Right after he links to this thread.
FinalDasa!
The Cabin review, for me, was nothing compared to the Dick Clark obituary. The biggest advise review-wise has already been given here - we need to hear the author's voice, and a copy+pasted review as the first review under the "new management" was a terrible, terrible idea. Someone like puts time into his reviews, clearly cares about film, and is doing it all for free. We don't come to this site for headline grabbers or quick updates on showbiz news - we come for in-depth, thoughtful articles and reviews by writers we have come to know as people. Since the change, I haven't seen that. Threads like this are all well and good, but we get the same line from you over and over - "we hear you". Do you? It doesn't seem that way. We are getting absolute travesties like the piece on Dick Clark. We are not here for showbiz tweets. This is not Twitter. This is a website founded on writing and community interaction, and so far there has been very little of either.
