The Walking Dead » What Did Jenner Whisper? (Spoilers)

@gla55jAw:
Nope. In the comics, Lori just noticed she was pregnant over time. Morning sickess and such. And, in the comics, which will probably come into play in the TV show, it's never really known who the father is, Rick or Shane.

The Walking Dead » What Did Jenner Whisper? (Spoilers)

In the season 1 finale, after Dr. Jenner opens the doors and allows the survivors to leave, he is shown whispering something into Rick's ear. This thread is dedicated to theories about what Jenner said.

Here's my theory: Since it was a big deal in the comic series, I believe Jenner told Rick that Lori was pregnant. Why? Well, when the survivors entered the CDC, Jenner had them all take a blood test. A blood test can be used to determine pregnancy by showing hCG levels and can detect pregnancy 7-12 days after conception  (it's science stuff. I looked it p all by myself!)). It would fit given the amount of time that has passed.

Also, when Rick asked about the blood tests, Jenner replied "Nothing surprising". It would not be odd to Jenner for someone's wife to be pregnant and, since he was planning on killing everyone anyway, there was no reason to let Rick know.

Finally, the look on Rick's face indicates that whatever he was told was a BIG DEAL. The emotion portrayed is about what I'd expect from someone being told their wife is pregnant in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.

Thoughts?

I'll go for a walk with BtSD and the Bombcast downloaded and ready to go. I might play a game or just lounge around.

What is the funniest or most bizarre act you've ever seen from other people while sitting in a theater?

My most memorable incident happened during Sherlock Holmes. During the entire previews and for the first 5 minutes of the film, a woman was loudly talking on her cell phone, at full volume. A few people starting shushing or yelling her to "shut the fuck up". The gentleman sitting next to her asked her three times to hang up the phone, to which she responded "Fuck you asshole. I'll do what I want". He proceeded to stand up, grab the phone out of her hand, and throw it as hard as he could across the theater, causing it to shatter against the wall. In the back row, where I was sitting, all you could see was the light from the phone soaring across the theater. The audience proceeded to applaud, and the woman got up and left to get security. When she got back with security, the man had moved seats and no one in the theater said anything to expose him.

I wish I could have shaken the mans hand.

Do you guys know of any movie trailers that you thought were really intriguing and well done, but also turned out to be misleading, leaving the movie that came to be disappointing?

My best examples would be the trailers for the movies "The Invisible" and "Max Payne".

"The Invisible" had a trailer that was intriguing, but told us about plot points that plainly weren't in the film and had characters and scenes that seemed interesting, but also were no where to be found. It was a boring, stupid movie.

"Max Payne" is a great game series and the trailers for the movie were edited well, had good drama, and alot of action. The movie we got was a boring and predictable with maybe 10 minutes of actual action, which was poorly done.
