Good luck at Giant Bomb, Alex. I've greatly enjoyed your work here at Screened and will keep an eye on the Year of Cage as it progresses.

This was one of my favorite monster movies and the hype that built up around the vagueness of its teaser trailer up to launch was amazing. I don't like horror movies, so this is the best found footage film for me.

I like the way they're handling this reboot by starting from the beginning rather than somewhere near the end like the original movie series. Plus, I like that the CG has progressed enough to make good-looking apes instead of going the suit/makeup route of past movies, though they look off enough to be kind of creepy here. I don't actually use Origin and don't really intend to if I don't have to, but man. Even the verification email process is broken. What.
