The TV schedule this week is Remembrance day heavy and rightfully so. This whole what to watch UK is very much a work in progress and on trial during November, its a time heavy blog and very much reflects my personal viewing habits (and TV package) than may not necessarily mirror public opinion.
Remembrance Highlights
Thursday 11th 10:00pm BBC4 - Wilfred Owen: A Remembrance Tale
Jeremy Paxman presents a docu-drama about the life of the First World War poet whose work highlighted the brutality of the conflict. Dramatic reconstructions show his childhood in Shropshire, travels in pre-war France and experiences in the trenches and in military hospital. The programme also visits the sites of the battlefields where he fought and died.
Saturday 13th 9:10pm BBC1 - Festival of Remembrance 2010 Huw Edwards presents coverage of the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, which pays tribute to all victims of war and conflict. The programme features music by the bands of the RAF and Royal Marines and the voices of Hayley Westenra, the Soldiers and Kerry Ellis as well as a performance by guitarist Brian May.
Sunday 14th 10:25am BBC1 - Remembrance Sunday: The Cenotaph David Dimbleby and
Sophie Raworth present coverage of this year's ceremony from the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The Queen will lay a wreath on behalf of the nation to remember those who have died in armed conflicts, and will be joined by the Prime Minister, other leading politicians and military officials, as well as representatives of many of the world's religions.

Following Lucas's shocking revelations about his former life and double identity, Harry instructs the team to find him - at any cost. He enlists the help of a former internal affairs specialist to track down the fugitive, who is becoming increasingly desperate to locate the Albany file and flee the country with Maya. When Harry discovers Ruth has been placed in grave danger, he faces a tough decision that culminates in a showdown with Lucas.
Friday 10:00 FX - The Walking Dead - Series1. Episode 2/6Rick accidentally allows group of survivors to become trapped by walkers, and he must face an enemy far more dangerous than the undead.
