 The Tv schedule this week is very strange.  Nothing really grabs your attention and shakes it to within an inch of its life.  But if you like quality films this week is full of them and if you like mediocre films this week is going to feel like heaven.  Plus wall to wall Live Tennis with the ATP World Tour Finals.  

Highlight of the week

The Peep Show - New Series 
 Friday 25th - Channel 4/HD - 22:00 
 

The peep show returns for its 7th series.  
 Mark (David Mitchell) waits anxiously at the hospital for the birth of his child, with Sophie (Olivia Colman) determined to have a natural delivery. Jeremy (Robert Webb) is convinced he will never get over losing Elena, until he meets Zahra (Camilla Marie Beeput), whose boyfriend is in a coma. 
 

Film of the week

You would not believe just how many top class films are on TV this week.  I will list them all daily below but the undoubted film of the week is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.  

The Terrestrial TV Premiere of Tim Burton’s revenge tale of the musical barber staring Johnny Depp.  Also staring Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall and Sacha Baron Cohen.
