1. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
it's probably the only Batman film where the Joker finally get batman under his skin, and it hurts it really sinks in deeper then any explosion or any bit fight scene you ever seen. It's a story why people keep secrets and why they drift apart but also why to continue on. The best film, period. |

2. The Batman Superman Movie
Not Only are origin stories a complete waste of time, but so are explanation in less then 3 minutes the two character reveal their secret identities in a way that makes sense and doesn't insult anyone's intelligence. Joker pretending to be a hitchhike as Harley does catcalls is the BEST SCENE OF ALL TIME. |

3. Batman Returns
What works really well is the dynamic between Batman and Catwoman. It's the Physical and emotional desire between the two of them but they can't relate because one is a hero the other is an anti hero. The problem with all batman movies is forcing in a romantic subplot which never does affect the characters outside of damsel in distress. |

4. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Best Batman Year One story. Origin stories are really a complete waste of film because they are all the same but at least we not get to see the struggle along with regrets. Amazing Intro with opera, and the Joker ending is still the best scene of all time. |

5. Batman
I won't deny I grew up on this show, and I still keep coming back 30 years later and feel like a kid again. As much as I enjoy Batman as a brooding Gothic, rich playboy with awesome toys, I still want to feel like I am 4 years old again. And where else can Penquin get a cute henchgirl? The show still stays entertaining when I'm old. |

6. Batman
I think this was the first fanboy experience I had as a 12 year old boy in the summer 1988. I knew damned well Joker's origin and he was the Red Hood when he fell into the vat of chemicals, still it's a film experience that changed my life and made me into a big movie dork. Next to star wars this was the film where I memorized make up artists and art directors names and wanted to work on special effects. |

7. Batman: Under the Red Hood
it's too new, but I do think the film is just growing on me. With flaws and all. |
