What a really poor review of an astounding film!! I loved everything about this film. To have stuck strickly to the original telling would not have done it justice. A lot of people are forgetting what the Big Picture is here. To tell the story of The Hobbit and entwine it into The Lord of the Rings seamlessly. As with Shrek and Ice Age, the original films were amazing, then it was downhill from there. I think however that the writing may save this one

Anyone suprised this was so bad? The drivel that Burton has been churning out, i doubt he's capable of making a decent film anymore. I've heard he's doing Beetlejuice 2.....i can only imagine how bad it will be
