So here is what Toonami will be returning with on 5/26
on the General Discussion board.
Initial lineup has me underwhelmed, I guess since Funimation has it's own channel, maybe Toonami can't get Lupin III, Case Closed and Yu Yu Hakusho. But at least get Big O back on the air!If they could get the rights to stuff like Hellsing or G.T.O, I'd be tuning in every week!

Sounds interesting to me. I'm always down to hear some movie discussions about movies rather than critiques. Short-form video film criticism has been done to death and isn't very informative anyway. If the films he shows and the people he interviews get the word out about some interesting projects, I say good.

It's a bummer, but not surprising considering Hulu is owned by traditional media players. Sure Hulu makes money, but nowhere near what Disney, News Corp and NBC Universal make on their cable networks, not to mention a secondary syndication market for their network shows. Is Hair Style & Color the Job of CostumeDesigner or MakeUpArtist?.
Maybe films may have a separate hair person, and they don't get academy awards! My guess hair is closer to the make-up artist's job. I've never heard a costume designer discuss hair, but only their job in terms of fabrics and fittings, etc.

I've never watched two films in a theater in the same day, let alone six. Sounds like a headache to me.I have spent entire days watching the Rocky or Jame Bond films as marathons, and of course I take part in the bi-annual The Twilight Zone marathon on SyFy. But I marathon from my own home, where I can take a few hours off and nap or eat.

@Top8cat: Ah, thanks for the info. Its seems like the quality of digital cinematography is getting better every month, the Anonymous trailer I saw did look fine. Going with my Michael Mann example, I liked the look of Collateral and Miami Vice, but didn't feel it looked right for Public Enemies. Will the Hobbit be shot on 35mm film at 48 fps, or will it be shot digitally? I'd be interested in seeing what film @ 48fps would look like to see if it retains a filmic look.
