Perhaps this is why District 9 felt like such a great movie to me. It is one of very few decent Sci-Fi films to have come out lately. Never quite knew where the story line was going, and it felt incredibly well realised. Look forward to the prequel and eventual sequel. I almost want to stock up on cat food.

I saw this on a nature documentary once... when the birds feed their young. Looks just the same. Maybe he thinks he needs to cough up a kidney or something, via mouth to mouth.

The only show that hasn't cut it for me, is where they gave Don an internal dialogue when he was writing that ad. It was a great speech, but the enigma and beauty of Don is you never quite know what he is thinking. Sadly, Tree of Life has been only available on limited release in the UK, and I mean... limited. *sigh*But I think Malick is ultimately a philosopher, and his films have depth and visual fidelity I have never seen anywhere else, I can't wait to finally see Tree of Life.

I often ask parents if they could remove cancer, heart disease etc, from their Children, would they do it, and they invariably always reply yes.
