Really most of the problems are are only jarring because of the way the film adapts the novels, the novels don't invoke these issues as badly as one would think. because popularity they were your standard B list fantasy.

@Rorieyou're right on basically every account, however i want to point out that the films while well made are much more hollow than the novels themselves. I'm a guy who has read 3 of the 4 twilight books thus far. The novels are things of escapism and fanaticism that every ordinary girl can VERY easily enter. In fact i praise the author because she is able to write the books ...
