PA3 strieks the perfect balance FOund Footage films seem to miss: I often find people don't care about why I like the Found Footage genre. But if they did, I'd tell them it's because it is everything that makes good horror condensed down into it's most basic form. Put simply it is building suspense, keeping the monster in the dark and using the audience's primal fears against them. When done right, it was spectacular. When done poorly, it failed miserably. What role do you think expectations play in one's enjoyment of film? I recently saw Attack The Block while I thought it was pretty good it wasn't quite what I was expecting after hearing it hyped up by various sources. Do you think reviews may have an adverse effect on the viewing public?
