@CrimsonAvenger: I'd argue the Moffat seasons have been much darker in tone and content than RTD, I mean his first season as showrunner featured a storyline where the army of angels went around breaking people's necks and using the dead's voices to taunt those surviving. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the RTD episodes of the show but it felt a lot sillier and family friendly than it does now ...

I would like to own Game of Thrones at some point since it's a series I could probably watch a few times over and still find it entertaining, but It's far too expensive at it's current price and I'm sure in a few seasons time they'll bring out a collection of a few of them for a signifficantly lower price like they always tend to do with boxsets.

It's a shame it doesn't reach the same highs as some of the other ghibli films, that said I'm sure I'll still give it a watch at some point even if it's just to enjoy the quality of the animation.

Out of the list I'd say Doctor Who, mostly because there's so much variety in tone and style in every episode, of course this means there is a lot of oppurtunity for the series to miss as well as hit but even in those episodes at least it's usually trying to do something unique.I also enjoy Fringe quite a lot.
