1. The X-Files
The paranormal is always popular... Ask the guys that watch Fringe, or wathever... Special Agent Mulder and Special Agent Scully will always have a special place in memories of watching tv 8 hours straight every day. |
2. Friends
I remember when it was on national tv on my country, and it was called "AMIGOS". Yes, even then I watched it. That changed when I got cable, so yeih. Despite the lack of sense in the plot over the last 4 seasons, the show never stopped being funny, or maybe funnier, and that's a pretty hard thing to accomplish. For a Show to loose the plot sense, and continues to be funny?? I guess that's why is "Friends" |

3. Seinfeld
The show about nothing. So much has been said about this one, that I don't think is necessary to tell it again. In the words of the great Cosmo Kramer, in "The Contest" chapter... "I'm Out!" |
4. Cheers
I have to admitt that I only saw the seasons before Kristy Ally, and I guess those must have been the best of them because it was excellent in every way. Ted Danson will always be loved, at the very least by me, for his role in this one. |
5. Mad About You
A lot of series explore the married-life, but I don't think that any of them ever came close to put a funcional, happy married couple so very much in love with each other like Paul and Jamie Buchman. Romanticism and fun? This show prove it to be posible at the exact same time. |
6. Malcolm in the Middle
I honestly can't describe why this show worked, but not only it worked... It was awsome. The only one you can call normal, was actually malcolm, and even he was crazy. This Kind of humor is not easy to match. Every episode was like a dream to me. It's just that everything could happen. |
7. The Adventures of Pete & Pete
The way I see it, there are two kinds of humor: 1) The "hahaha" humor%3B 2) the "OMFG that didn't just happen" humor. For me, this one is the first series that did latter. It was so f... original that it doesn't seem real. And the worst... no reruns anymore. =( |
8. Home Improvement
When being a grewing up kid you didn't get very few rol-models, but this one... Man! There'e no one more manly that Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, well maybe Jay Pritchett... |
9. Full House
Well, we were all kids at least once, right? I haven't even seen it in English, and it was still pretty funny. |
10. Futurama
There's a reason why I put Futurama in before the Simpsons, and is bacause Fiturama in four season did things that The Simpson could not do in over 20 years. A special reminder of the episodes of Fry's dog, or Fry's brother, or Lila's parents come to mind. "Feeling!!" |
11. The Simpsons
Well I can't even remember a time when I didn't watch it, but since Fox recently took out the posibility of watching it on English I don't think I will continue watching the new seasons. |
12. The Practice
Well I'm a lawyer, adn I'll be lying If I say that this show dind't have something to do with that. The dilemmas and the burden of getting criminals out was pretty well written. |
13. Married with Children
Just damned funny. Even when I think of the show makes me wanna cheer, clap, and scream "Yeah!! Wuuuuuu" |
14. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
This one is very special. It was always funny and with a good season finalles, but other than that it was a like a "the O.C." with vampires, but as the show went on, it got darker and darker. The last two sesson were, to me, not sutable for children. It was just greatly written. Thank you, Joss Wheddon. |
15. Angel
This was a great spin off. My guess is that it could stand on it`s own for a few more seassons, but they didn`t try, and it went off with a bang. Great series finalle. |
16. Saturday Night Live
I've watched a lot of seasons, not all of course, but I guess I stopped watching after Tina Fey left. But it was for the best, bacuase there'e nothing like 30 Rock. I'm very greatfull. |
17. Scrubs
This show might be one the most intelligent shows ever. The dinamics and the uniqueness of the characters is what sets this show a part. Even the ninth season was pretty great, and I would've like to see more of it. |
18. Smallville
I'm just sorry that Tom Welling is not considered for any of the new Superman movies. He's a really good Superman, and the series has very smart writing and a sixth sense for creating great villans. Lex and Lionel are great characters. |
19. MacGyver
A special Thanks to "The Fonz" for making this happen. Every time I think of this show I feel like Patty and Selma. Long live Richard Dean Anderson!!! |
20. Family Guy
This show was great, but at some point it went to far. At the beginning was great though. |
