Filmfail (Level 17)

I don't know if you guys know this, but I'm a filmmaker (I even have a Screened page, Dan Rickmers!) and I like to do awesome/stupid shit, so I'm making a short film right now that's basically a retelling of Lord of the Rings as an indie romantic comedy. It's pretty cool, and I got Doctor Octoroc (he does a lot of chiptune music and stuff on youtube, look him up if you have time) to make an original 8-bit soundtrack for the film too.  We're selling awesome t-shirts and DVDs and stickers and all that on Kickstarter to get enough money to rent equipment so we can eventually get the film into Sundance and all those festivals, so if you guys want to pledge a few dollars our way, I promise it's going to be really great. http://kck.st/lppUAe

Just watched World's Greatest Dad on my netflix instant watch. I think it's probably the darkest comedy I've seen since Happiness or Spanking the Monkey.
