I've certainly kicked my movie-watching habits up a notch since joining this site. Major props have to go to all you users out there, constantly enlightening me to certain films I wouldn't otherwise see. So kudos to you! Here is a list of said movies I've seen since this account's inception, hopefully updated frequently until I get bored or something. Ooh, something shiny!
Note: Some of these movies I have seen previously. Not every movie can be a new one, though I'll try to specify which is a first viewing or not.
Double note! They are ordered by most recent viewing. That means the first movie listed here is also the latest movie I've seen.
Starting date of compilation: June 1st, 2010
Ending date of compilation: October 1st, 2011

1. 300
Remember 2007? Neither do I, but there was this giant internet meme going around, aping the line "This. Is. SPARTA!". Because I have this general hatred of people and trends, I decided to never see this movie. But obviously I did. Stupid friends, peer-pressuring me to see this stupid movie. |

2. 2001: A Space Odyssey
One of my favorite movies of all time. Kubrick at his finest right here. |
3. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Alright, so I saw this movie in theatres last summer... sort of. I actually fell asleep in the latter half of the film. This time I stayed awake. But it wasn't interesting. All the explosions in the world couldn't save this movie from bombing (see what I did there?) |

4. The Runaways
Joan Jett and Cherie Curry. I thought it was an entertaining bio-pic that was hurt by some pacing issues |
5. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
I recently bought the Extended version, so I spent all 3 and a half hours between two days watching this epic masterpiece. I still consider this to be the best Lord of the Rings movie in the trilogy. |

6. Ratatouille
This (along with Cars, which is in my queue) was the remaining Pixar film I haven't yet seen. And if you put a gun to my head and told me to rate the Pixar films in order of best to worst, this would be #2... just behind Wall-E, which is PERFECT |
7. Toy Story
Consider this a nostalgic look back before I see the third part of the franchise. |
8. Shutter Island
Scorsese is an amazing director and this was a fun and interesting film... except they couldn't have telegraphed that ending to me any clearer. |
9. The Hurt Locker
It's been a while since I last saw a war movie, and this is less war movie than it is a trip through the mind of an adrenaline junkie in the backdrop of a war torn country, with a little paranoia thrown into the pot for some flavor. Loved it. |

10. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Instantly became a favorite of mine. Beautiful film. |
11. Dumb and Dumber
Easily... EASILY the dumbest movie in the history of time. But that's a good thing. |
12. Iron Man 2
And it begins here (or does it end here?)! Scarlet Johansson was my favorite part of this one. |
