@BRich: Yes absolutely i too bring this up every time there is a worst movie ever discussion. The climatic ending fight isnt a fight at all, its just spider-man getting his ass handed to him until the very last minute. I cant remember him landing a punch in that last sequence.

i hate this movie with a burning erection, i mean passion. I remember coming out of the theater thinking it was the worst movie i had ever seen and still subscribe to that sentiment. Emo spider-man is just too much.

@DXmagma: the lost world is widely acknowledged to be total shit and leaving it on a cliffhanger like that would have destroyed the good will that most fans had towards the franchise. Cliffhangers in movies are largely avoided for a reason. People want resolution, they want closure, and at the very least they want an ending. Cliffhangers leave the audience with a bad taste in their mouth and the feeling ...
