1. Back to the Future
Definitely my all time favourite. There was a time where I used to come home from school each Friday and play it on my VCR - even though my recording missed the first and last 5 minutes of the movie. Still seems a little weird seeing those parts because they feel out of place to me. Good times. |

2. The Mummy
The first movie I bought on DVD. I know it's cheesy, but in my opinion, in the best possible way. |
|
|
3. Star Trek: First Contact
I saw this movie 10 times at the cinema, it came out during the peak of my Star Trek obsessiveness and hit the spot in a most satisfying way. |

|
4. Forrest Gump
Such an amazing film, an incredibly unique performance from Hanks and just an astoundingly funny, warm story. |

5. Life Is Beautiful
Words cannot describe how amazing this film was. It was a difficult movie for me to understand what it was about before I went into, but I came out completely blown away. |

|
6. Speed
I loved the break neck action in this film. It seemed like the perfect 90s concept action film. |
|
|
7. Die Hard
The original, the best. The template for some many action films to proceed it. |
|
|
8. Avatar
I was one of those people who loved this film. If it wasn't so expensive to buy a ticket I probably would've seen this film multiple times. This really seemed to me to be the future of movies. |

9. Inception
An amazingly well constructed film that I haven't been able to stop thinking about since I've seen it. |

10. Transformers
I was never a fan of the TV show or the toys, but this movie blew me away with it's explosion-tastic awesomeness. |
