This was severly lacking in the fight scene department
on the The Bourne Legacy board.
The previous films have had at least one really long, brutal intense hand to hand fight scene, but this had nothing except for Cross quickly dispatching the guards. Gilroy nailed the chase aspect of Bourne, but completely dropped the ball on this part.

I love the Gos, but Gangster Squad just looks like a silly(er) remake of The Untouchables, so I'm not upset about this. Also, Sean Penn looks awful, both his makeup and his performance.

I found this movie to be genuinely awful with the exception of the final action scene, which was okay. It's the kind of movie where staring at the ceiling is often more interesting than what's happening on screen.

Does anybody really want this, other than Peter Jackson and James Cameron? Do we want big budget epics looking like soap operas, documentaris and Jersey Shore? The low framerate is what gives us the iconic look of film, it what makes it look different than just some home movie or child pageant shitty show. Lately I've been noticing that the kind of 3D that gets most praise(or least hate), is this kind where the background just kinda sorta pops out, or things in the environment are a bit clearer because they edge out slightly.
