This franchise is becoming the next Saw very quickly. Wherein the first few were interesting but they decided to become annual Hallowe'en release. This move is souring any affection I had for Paranormal Activity and I haven't even watched that trailer yet.

Jesus christ, Jiggle? Really? Fuck that.I thought the performances were great all around, surprised by Hathaway and while predictable I still enjoyed dialogue from Caine. I really liked seeing Gordon-Levitt enter the cave. Robin being a shitty character in previous films and TV shouldn't have anything to do with this. John Blake was a great character and was more poised to take up the Batman uniform than become the Robin ...

I found the Batman voice to be a non-issue this time around. At this point, the end of a trilogy, you either accept it or don't. It's odd that you would find it bothersome here. I think he would have had his moment. Let out of Black Gate like the rest of the criminals and caused a roadblock for Batman. I can easily see Joker prancing through the chaos that Gotham became and having the time of his life.

I just recently watched the first the three movies for the first time. I did see Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in theatres and thought it had some serious issues. After watching Raiders and it's sequels I had to change my opinion of Kingdom a bit. For an Indiana Jones movie, it's really adequate. I saw The Room on tour in Ottawa last year. I met Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero (Oh hi Mark!) and manage to get Tommy to sign a shot of his ass from the film. One of my greatest accomplishments. Like other cult classics, seeing it in a theatre with adoring fans (and thousands of plastic spoons) was incredible.NSFW and large image warning for below:

The most avid fans of 3D are children from what I've seen. So as the tech gets less intrusive and more immersive, they will probably prefer 3D in their films as they grow up. Since I've watched Avatar on Blu-ray, I wish I'd never bothered with 3D at all.
