The only lasting impression I got from the movie was the great performance of Fassbender. The pacing was slow but the ending felt rushed and disjointed from the rest.A lot of beats from the original Alien but without the best stuff from the same movie. A shame really...

I saw it ages ago and I'm stunned they're bringing it to the US. It was OK at the time but it will be extremely dated by now. Maybe not the clothes (US fashion is 10 years behind ;-)) but the effects will be. The kids probably won't notice anyway. Curious how it will fare across the ocean. Also cats > dogs
