It’s hard to tell whether making another “Scream” over a decade since the last one was necessary or even wanted. The third installment had pretty much wrapped up what appeared to be a fitting end in the storied slasher series.

But here we were, 11 years later, and horror film visionary Wes Craven unveiled “Scream 4″ (2011).

The story takes place 10 years after the original Westboro murders, and Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has since made peace with her horrific past, in part thanks to her writing career.
