@skidd: Its when the boy looks straight at the camera and then back to SW. Maybe he's just so shocked right? He can't believe it right? ....right?

Upcoming Movies » 'The Social Network' gets rave reviews from first screening.

" I'm really excited for the movie--Aaron Sorkin gets high praise from me for his impeccable work on The West Wing.  As for the people outraged at it being a movie about the creation of Facebook, the movie seems to have very little to actually do with Facebook. Not seeing The Social Network because you don't like Facebook is like not watching The Hurt Locker because you're against the war on terror. "
That's very well said.

Isn't it crazy?! Some bold words in those reviews for sure. Guess I'll just see for myself.

It's crazy! I was honestly a little dismissive of the whole idea, but I had no reason for that I guess. I'm sure as more reviews come out, the score will drop a bit, but it's sounding like movie of the year material right now.

Erik Davis: "  With a lot of help from Sorkin's (potentially Oscar-worthy) script, David Fincher has crafted his most humorous film since Fight Club."

Todd McCarthy: "  On a first viewing, it seems almost indecently smart, funny and sexy. The second time around... half the time I sat there marveling at the similarities of the story, themes and structure to Citizen Kane."

Fred Topel: "  The Social Network is the movie of the year. If Coppola were into computers, this would be The Godfather."

Currently sitting at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes:  http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the-social-network/

Some of the reviews have compared The Social Network to Citizen Kane, The Godfather, and Fight Club. That's some damn fine company to be in.

I'll admit, I was sort of indifferent to the whole thing, but I'm suddenly very intrigued and heading to theaters on day one. Anyone else suddenly interested?

Off-Topic » What Food Do You Eat At The Movie Theater?

I very rarely eat anything at the movies. At most, I may have a drink.

General Discussion » Should I watch Fight Club?

Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club) has said that he actually prefers the ending of the movie to that of his own book. I read the book first, loved it, it's one of my favorite books ever .

I saw the movie next, loved it, it's one of my favorite movies ever.
