@FinalDasa: If you are trying to say that Star Trek appeals to the masses more than Star Wars I have to disagree with you. If anything its probably the opposite. It did the job I was expecting it to....give me a lot of explosions and show some good action (wasn't even looking for great yesterday just wanted to watch a non-thinking action film). So basically its a re-imagining of a concept first thought of in the Nightmare on Elm Street films where you can't fall asleep or Freddy will get you......this time its just that if you believe in the Apparition it will get you. Interesting idea and I always enjoy a return to old school horror vice straight up cringe factor gore like Saw or The Hills Have Eyes.
