1. Independence Day
Obviously from the name it's already patriotic but you also get all kinds of great American things like rousing speeches, cheesy one liners, military jargon, rednecks who get abducted by aliens and a president who's willing to go kick ass himself. |
2. Rocky IV
So we all know that Rocky single handedly defeated Communism in this movie and showed the power of the USA through at least 3 montages but to top it off there's Apollo Creed's ridiculous Las Vegas entrance with bulls, more stars and stripes than a Texas Wal-Mart and James Brown singing "Living in America" |
3. Invasion U.S.A.
The man who sprung from the soil of America itself, Chuck Norris, must defend the suburbs of Florida from Russian/Cuban/Misc. terrorists using only his mini uzis and pick up truck. Unfortunately he never gets to Washington D.C., despite what the poster would lead you to believe. |
4. Air Force One
America's most ass kicking President, Harrison Ford, must defend his family and the future of the world from evil Russian terrorists. If there was ever a moment that deserved an "America, Fuck Yeah!" it's when Ford punches Gary Oldman off the plane. |
5. The Patriot
This would probably be THE most patriotic movie ever made but I think they dropped the ball with *SPOILER* the end battle between Mel Gibson and Jason Issacs. Instead of stabbing him in the throat with a bayonet, Mel should have impaled him with the American flag and then Issacs should have fallen over backward so that the flag could flutter in slow motion over his evil British body. You were so close Roland Emmerich. |
6. Top Gun
Pretty much a commercial for how bitching and fun the Navy can be. |
7. Team America: World Police
It's intentionally over the top patriotic but it still deserves a place on the list for it's gift of this list's theme song, "America, Fuck Yeah" |
8. Rambo: First Blood Part II
All those people who say we lost the Vietnam War obviously forgot when John Rambo went there and blew the whole country up with a helicopter. |
9. Street Fighter
So the AN is clearly the UN but mostly it's America and it's led by great "American" William F. Guile. The speech Guile gives is amazing but what makes this movie ridiculously patriotic is when Guile stars his final duel with M. Bison and he flexes his arm to show his USA flag tattoo. Amazing. |

10. Red Dawn
So a recurring theme of this list has been evil Commies and this is the big mother of them all. God Bless you Patrick Swayze and your brutal guerrilla campaign against oppression. |
