Mr.Q (Level 9)

In Hollywood, they think drawn animation doesn't work anymore, computers are the way. They forget that the reason computers are the way is that Pixar makes good movies. So everybody tries to copy Pixar. They're relying too much on the technology and not enough on the artists. The fact that Disney closed down its cel animation division is frightening to me. Someday soon, somebody will come along and do a drawn-animated film, and it'll be beautiful and connect with people, and they'll all go, 'Oh, we've got to do that!' It's ridiculous. - Tim Burton

I see you liked Tin Man. Have you seen SyFy's Alice? IMO, it was better than Burton's, and that's something I never thought I'd say.

@sanjica: to be perfectly honest. I haven't seen Burton's Alice yet. which shames me because he is my favorite director. but yes I saw 'most' of sci-fi (I refuse to use the other spelling). one of the few times the Jobberwockey was portrayed somewhat faithfully. and loved the reworking of the oft-quoted line from the Walrus and the Carpenter. I mutter it to myself at least twice a day. can't say why. missed the ending though. thanks for the comment and support too.
